Cyber Essentials helps protect your business and demonstrates your commitment to cyber security. Created by the UK government’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the scheme sets out 5 essential controls to safeguard your organisation against common cyber threats.
IASME Certification Bodies are accredited companies authorised to assess organisations against recognised cyber security standards. They evaluate whether your organisation meets the required criteria and, if successful, issue the relevant Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus certification.

Leveraging our extensive knowledge and experience, we provide full Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification services. Cyber Essentials is completed via self-assessment, while Cyber Essentials Plus requires a thorough audit of your IT environment. We can also provide guidance and consultancy to help organisations meet the required criteria, whether it’s your first time or you’re seeking additional support. Once all criteria are met, we issue the relevant certification, whether Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus.
We provide full Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification services, and were the first company in Cambridge to issue both. Cyber Essentials is self-assessed, while Cyber Essentials Plus is audited to verify that the required cyber security controls are correctly implemented. Whether it’s your first time or you need extra support, we offer guidance and consultancy to help you achieve certification.

As an IASME Certification Body, we are authorised to assess and certify organisations against a range of cyber security standards, including Cyber Essentials and IASME Cyber Assurance. Our experienced assessors work closely with businesses of all sizes to help them improve their security posture and demonstrate compliance with industry-recognised frameworks.
IASME is one of the five Cyber Essentials Partner Bodies appointed by the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). It manages and delivers the Cyber Essentials and IASME Cyber Assurance schemes to help organisations protect themselves against common online threats and meet data protection and regulatory requirements.
We are qualified to assess and certify against the following IASME standards:
• Cyber Essentials – A Government-backed certification designed to help organisations guard against the most common cyber threats.
• Cyber Essentials Plus – An enhanced version of Cyber Essentials, which includes hands-on technical verification and testing.
• IASME Cyber Assurance – A more comprehensive, risk-based standard that includes data protection, staff awareness, and incident response.

Without suitable protection, on average, organisations take over 200 days to detect and contain a data breach, which dramatically increases recovery costs.
Of data breaches are due to human mistakes, often through users that have not had cyber awareness training with attacks such as phishing or social engineering. Many of these are avoidable.
Studies have found that nearly 60% of breaches exploited known vulnerabilities for which a patch was already available but had not been applied in time!
