Winning Gold at the SME Cambridgeshire Business Awards 2026
Cambridge Cyber Security won Gold at the SMECambridgeshire Business Awards 2026 for the category of ‘Business of theYear less than 50 Employees’. This was a great accomplishment for usbecause the team had been working towards producing a business that deliversexcellent results. This award recognises all that hard work the team have put in.
We were up against some tough competition, largercompanies who had been in operation longer than us. But we were honoured totake home the gold award. Our Managing Director and Technical Director, Philand Simon were present to receive the award on behalf of the entire team. Thisaward truly reflects the hard work from the entire team and is a moment ofcelebration for us all.
We are now looking forward to attending the finals of theSME National Business Awards 2026 in London. We have been entered in thecategory of ‘Business of the Year less than 50 Employees’. The award nightis on Friday 6th November 2026 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge.The best of luck to all companies!
Cambridge Cyber Security Achieves Prestigious NCSC Assured Service Provider Status
Cambridge Cyber Security has achieved a significant milestone in the cyber security industry by being recognised as a National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) AssuredService Provider under the prestigious Cyber Advisor scheme. To put things into context, the NCSC is a government department; and with 2,165 cybersecurity firms in the UK (in 2025), only 94 are registered and certified asCyber Advisors through the NCSC. Cambridge Cyber Security is one of them, and the only firm in Cambridge. So, this puts us in the top 4% elite class of cybersecurity companies in the UK that can provide solid cyber advice and implementation set by the high standards of the UK's national cyber security authority.
The certification was earned through the expertise of Simon, Cambridge CyberSecurity's Technical Director, who successfully completed the comprehensiveNCSC Cyber Advisor (Cyber Essentials) qualification. This achievement required passing a rigorous 3.5-hour examination administered by The Cyber Scheme inCheltenham. We are looking forward to the opportunities this will bring in the future.
