Frequently Asked Questions

Can I choose only the services I need?

Yes. Our pricing is designed to give you choice. You can select the services that matter most to your business and build a package that fits your needs today, with the flexibility to change as your requirements evolve.

Do I need Cyber Essentials before Cyber Essentials Plus?

Yes. Cyber Essentials Plus builds on Cyber Essentials. If you don’t already hold Cyber Essentials, you can include it as part of your Cyber Essentials Plus package.

What’s the difference between self-managed, assisted, and fully managed?

Self-managed means you complete the work yourself. Assisted provides expert guidance while you implement the changes. Fully managed means we handle the entire process for you from start to certification.

How quickly can I get certified?

Cyber Essentials certification can often be achieved within 24 hours using our Fast Tracked option, subject to meeting the requirements.

Can I add or remove services later?

Yes. Our services are designed to be flexible and fit your business. You can add, remove or change options at any time as your risks and requirements change.

Is Cyber Essentials a one-off or does it need renewing?

Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus are valid for 12 months and must be renewed annually to remain certified.

Do these services help with cyber insurance and policy requirements?

Yes. Many insurers expect controls such as MFA, vulnerability management, user training, and Cyber Essentials certification to be in place when issuing or assessing policies.

Who is Defence Cyber Certification for?

Defence Cyber Certification is designed for organisations working within the UK defence supply chain who need to meet MOD cyber security requirements.
